like during the preceding artistic research project Conceptual Joining – Wood Structures from Detail to Utopia our team has started to collect information and investigate the fields of circular design, re-use, conventional recycling and material flows, and the creative potential of “waste” (products) on a shared “pinboard”.

Besides field trips to Vienna’s Local Waste Management Agency MA48 and the local bikeshop Reanimated Bikes

the team has also had first meetings with Life Cycle Assessment experts Luise Grabuschnig and Jakob Lederer from the Technical University Vienna and Tobias Nolte from Certain Measures regarding the first case study cluster.
