It has the potential to become our new bible, at least for a while, as long as we are looking into space filling and cell packing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"646\" src=\"https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-1024x646.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-1024x646.png 1024w, https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-300x189.png 300w, https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-768x484.png 768w, https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-1536x969.png 1536w, https:\/\/inventorics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Pierce_Peter_structure-in-nature-is-strategy-for-design-collage-2048x1291.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>several pages illustrating the expanse of information contained in the book<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond architectural applications like the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pjpearcedesign.com\/index.php\/architecture\/biosphere-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Biosphere 2<\/a> structure in Oracle, Arizona, USA, and currently the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pjpearcedesign.com\/index.php\/architecture\/holos-house\/\" target=\"_blank\">H\u00f3los House<\/a>, he developed and patented various modular construction systems such as the&#8221;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pjpearcedesign.com\/index.php\/architecture\/building-system\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Min-a-Max Building System<\/a>&#8221; (Minimum Inventory\/Maximum Diversity Building System) and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.curvedspacediamondstructure.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Curved Space Diamond System&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latter started as playground climbing sculptures, but have also been exhibited as <em>&#8220;architectural design pieces, referred to as &#8220;usable artworks&#8221;&#8221;.<sup>1<\/sup><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/6\/6d\/Curved_Space_Diamond_Structure.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Interior photograph of Curved Space Diamond Structure. So it seems we are on a promising track with our endevours to aim at something similiar with our <a href=\"https:\/\/inventorics.com\/?p=289\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"289\">Bike Builder construction toy<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The &#8220;CurvedSpace&#8221; structure builder <\/strong>was a direct result of these diamond structures. It is a reduced version of the large scale elements. Special connector clips allow connecting the individual shells in a variety of spatial configurations.
